This is entry for the 2026 Mixed/Boys Teams Annual Summer Methley Gala, held at Church Lane in Methley. The tournament is for grassroots teams, and is a fun day for the whole family.
The football is for 5-a-side teams and follows standard FA rules. A full briefing and rules will be given on the day. Each team can have a maximum of 5 substitutes, so squads of 10.
Teams will initially be placed randomly into a group and play 3–4 other teams. After that, all teams will be re-grouped into a final group stage to play for cup or medals.
There will be a BBQ, stalls, home-baked cakes and refreshments, face painting, and plenty of fun games and activities across the site. Please encourage your team’s families to come along to support your team and enjoy the day!
Parking is £4 for the day and includes an entry into the raffle and a brochure for the day.
This year we are raising funds for the Methley United “Big Red Project”. Your support helps us secure much-needed facilities such as our own 3G pitch, ensuring more children and adults across our wider community can benefit from playing football.
