Safeguarding at Methley

At Methley United AFC, the safety and well-being of all our members, particularly children and vulnerable adults, are of the utmost importance. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for everyone involved in our club. In line with The FA Safeguarding Policy, we ensure that all coaches, staff, and volunteers receive the necessary training and adhere to strict codes of conduct to protect all individuals from harm.

We promote best practices for safeguarding, which include clear reporting procedures, regular risk assessments, and ongoing education to foster a safe sporting experience for all.

Our safeguarding approach is built on respect, transparency, and a zero-tolerance policy towards abuse or neglect. This commitment is integral to the values of Methley United AFC, and we encourage anyone who has concerns to speak out, confident that their voice will be heard and acted upon swiftly and appropriately.
