Guidelines for all our visitors

Car Parking: There is car parking within the venue grounds to avoid the need to park on the neighbouring streets. There are spaces beside the changing room block on the tarmac surface, there is also an overflow parking area on the grass area behind the multi games sports park. We ask you not to block the overflow parking entrance at the end of the car park as this space is vital in allowing extra cars to park on the site.

Toilet Facilities: We sadly do not have toilet facilities on site at Savile Park, the changing room block has recently been condemned by the council.  We do have a site just down the road at Church Lane (LS26 9HN), which is a 5 minute walk for anyone needing toilet facilities.  We apologise about the inconvenience but are working to upgrade these facilities in the very near future.

Respect: Like most grassroots football clubs we are a strong believer in ‘Respect’ of everyone involved in Grassroots football, not least the referee.  As a club we promote the use of young referee’s and give them the confidence to officiate games after passing their qualifications.  We ask that all visitors to our site respect the referee’s, young or old, male or female, without their willingness to officiate games we would not be able to play.  We ask that supporters of both teams encourage the efforts of both teams and act respectfully at all times, creating a fun and friendly atmosphere that encourages both teams players to perform the best they can do.

Drink Bottles/Rubbish: Can we please ask that you kindly pick up any rubbish from the pitches and ensure these are all placed in the bins in and around the site.  We really appreciate you adhering to this.

Team Colours: Methley United AFC play all their home games in Red tops, black shorts and red socks.

Dogs: Dogs are welcome on site but they must be kept on a lead at all times for the safety and protection of everyone on site.

Smoking: We kindly ask that all visitors to our sites refrain from all forms of smoking (including e-cigarettes and vaping), Methley United AFC fully supports the FA’s Smoke Free side lines campaign, to provide a safe, smoke free environment for players to enjoy their football.

We kindly ask that nobody urinates on the field at any time, we have received complaints from residents in the past where the police and the council have been involved so we need to avoid this at all times.

Methley United AFC is unable to take any liability or responsibility for failure of managers, coaches, parents/carers or players to adhere to these regulations.

On behalf of everyone at Methley United AFC, we wish you a safe trip over and look forward to welcoming you soon.
