A Summer of Progress


This summer has been one of the most transformative in our club’s history. We’ve been working tirelessly behind the scenes to take Methley United to new heights:


  • County FA Support: We’re proud to announce that after a productive meeting with the County FA, we’ve received their backing to begin planning for our very own 3G facility right here in Methley. This is a huge step forward for our club and community.
  • Savile Park Redevelopment: Plans are underway to upgrade Savile Park with changing rooms, a kitchen, and accessible toilet facilities—creating a more inclusive and functional space for all.
  • More Pitches, More Football: We’ve secured additional pitches at local schools and facilities around Methley to support our growing teams. While we know many would love to play every match in the village, limited green space makes this a challenge. That said, we’ve had some fantastic conversations with local clubs and people and have exciting plans to bring more pitches into Methley over the coming years. Stay tuned!

Membership Update


Running a football club comes with rising costs—especially for winter training and insurance. To continue delivering quality football experiences, we’ve made the tough but necessary decision to adjust our subscription rates:

This season, we’re placing a strong emphasis on positive behaviour and respect. We ask all parents, players, and coaches to uphold the values of sportsmanship—showing respect toreferees, coaches, and opposition players at all times.

Frequently Asked Questions

A: Most junior players should select one of the U7–U18 plans. These cover all youth age groups, and each plan already includes the payment option.

  • For example, if your child is in an U9 team and you want to spread payments over 8 months, choose “U7–U18 – 8 Payment Option.”

  • If you prefer 10 months or paying in full, choose the matching plan (e.g. “U7–U18 – 10 Payment Option” or “U7–U18 – Annual Payment.”)

  • Only select a different plan if your child is in Mini Lions, training only, or if you are playing in the adult Men’s/Women’s squads.

You’ll see the full payment schedule for each option before confirming.

A: Yes, you can. Simply:

  1. Log into the Team Fee Pay app using your existing username and password.

  2. Tap the parent profile icon in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Payments, then Join a Payment Plan.

  4. Complete the details and choose the correct child and team.

Alternatively, you can follow the link on this page and select “Existing User” at the top.

A: New members will first need to create a parent/guardian account. You can do this by:

  • Following the link on this page and selecting “New User”, or

  • Downloading the Team Fee Pay app and creating an account there.

Once set up, you can join a payment plan for your child.

A: When joining a payment plan, double-check you select the correct child member and team. There are often multiple teams per age group, plus mixed and female squads. If you’re unsure, please confirm with your child’s coach before proceeding.

A: Yes. You’ll need to create a separate payment plan for each child.

A: Yes. You’ll be asked to accept all club policies, including our Code of Conduct. These policies are very important – please take the time to read and understand them before continuing.

A:

  • If you used Team Fee Pay last season, your saved card will automatically be set up for payments.

  • If you didn’t add a card before, you’ll be prompted to add one during setup.

  • To update your payment card at any time, go to Payments → Cards in the app.
